a day

a day like today requires time and reflection to finally sink in. maybe only a few years from now will I be able to objectively understand what it means exactly. for now, it is the hope, the respectful silence with which one nation saw the beginning of something new. a turning point. and the cheering that comes with knowing that now we do have a leader, a role model, an inspiration.
may the symbolism of today's events inspire people all over. may the words laid today become true. may hope linger, so that we can always dream and look forward to achieving better places.
